Ahuva brings decades of hands-on experience in clinical studies and is a leading figure in Israel’s clinical research community. Under Ahuva’s leadership, GCP has grown into a full service CRO and educational provider serving global and local clients. Prior to establishing GCP, Ahuva held several senior positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb (Israel). Ahuva is accredited by the ACRP since 2002 as a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) and Certified Clinical Research Trainer (CCRT).

YOSSI BORNSTEIN

Co-founder & Chairman

Yossi brings decades of of experience as an entrepreneur in the life sciences arena. He is the CEO and the founder of Shizim, a life science holding company. He is the Founder & Chairman of ShizimXL an international medical devices Innovation center. He served as the Biotechnology Committee Chairman of the United States-Israel Science & Technology Commission (the “USISTF”). Yossi is the founder of ILSI – Israel Life Science Industry Organization (who was integrated into IATI) and Founder of ITTN – Israel Tech Transfer Organization. He is a Co-Founder and director of Microbot Medical (NASDAQ-MBOT) and a Co-Founder and a Director of XACT Robotics.

STEPHEN LEVENSTEIN

MD, VP Research Division

After qualifying as a Pediatrician in South Africa, Stephen joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1993. He is responsible for all of GCP’s clinical research activities, and serves as Medical Monitor and Pharmacovigilance contact when required. Prior to joining GCP in 2004, Stephen served as Medical Director for Bristol-Myers Squibb in South Africa and then in Israel, where he was responsible for the company’s Phase 2 to Phase 4 research programs, as well as post-marketing studies and surveys. He has experience in all therapeutic areas. Stephen qualified in Medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.

TSE'ELA SCHWARTZ

Manager, Bio-statistics, Data Management & Medical Devices Clinical Trials

Tse’ela is a seasoned medical device and pharma professional, with experience guiding international pharma companies, biotech companies, device startups and CROs through the data management and Biostatistics of their clinical research programs. She has been with GCP since 2006 after a ten-year tenure at a medical device company. Tse’ela brings a wealth of experience, in managing medical device clinical studies, in a diverse range of different therapeutic areas in Israel and Europe in collaboration with international and European CROs.

ORNA LANGERMAN

Manager, Clinical Research Training Center

Orna has been with GCP since 2004 and is responsible for GCP Academy’s curriculum development, marketing and serves as a senior instructor. A longtime veteran of the pharma industry, Orna served as CRA and Medical Information Advisor. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Orna was a first aid instructor and medical assistant and worked as a pharmacist. Orna is a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA), accredited by ACRP in 2004. Orna holds a B.Pharm in Pharmacology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and MHA in Health Management from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
